One of our finest chants and one of the little things that kept you sane as a City fan through all the shit. The ability to laugh our ourselves should never be under appreciated. I still hum it to myself if we ever go a goal down, keeps the blood pressure relatively stable.
 
fantastic to hear this on thursday ,maybe some people dont like/get the words,what counts is the niose and rythem p.s yes my wife does think the same
 
Still got a T shirt with the lyrics on the front and it has "Francis Lee's Blue and white army" on the back. Bought from the Soccer shop if memory serves me.

We should change it though to "We ALWAYS win at home and we ALWAYS win away" etc. Times change and we should have a more positive attitude. Those days are gone (almost)!
 
Are you sure it wasn't the Lisbon fans singing "You're shit and you know you are" that got our players going?

Just adapt to current form so if we had bad game week before
We always win at home, we always win away, we lost last week but we won't today

I was asked to sing a city song at a rag boozer a few year back after listening to them sing shit songs like build a bonfire etc, so I sang them never win, they loved it not because of the devalue of city they said it was the best song they had heard, one said its brilliant that al,
