Will those who's done the hard yards still be able to gets in the Fulhams, Southampton and Sunderlands midweek and Group stage games if that's alright. There were plenty of youngsters there Saturday plenty of noise in the pubs silent in the ground.We need to get our younger fans in. Pensioners monopolising big game tickets because “I’ve done the hard yards” has to stop.
There has been a great deal of that the last few days and not just from those with very few posts. Hats off to those that got tickets and went. Hopefully we will be in another one very soon and have our full allocation.2 post in 11 years with one slagging off our fans, my rag-ometre is going off the the scales.

Supporting City was never about being in a closed-off, elite members club. It used to be about welcoming people in, not shutting them out.

That could be there was not a fair share of FOCs from CBL3. No other club can boast of the undying and unchanging quality of the FOCs in CBL3. No other Bovril drinkers like 'em. Koolhand Muffin Khaldoon knows the club is blest.No we don't. Our fans in the stadium were shite, let's be honest.
I wasn't there and had the tv on mute so can't comment on the fans other than to state my admiration for the effort each and every one of them put in just to get there.
What I would say is that, with the best will in the world, fans need something to get them excited and the team selection, particularly the inclusion of Sterling, got things off to a bad start. Then, after 10 minutes or so, the writing was on the wall and it wasn't as if any player produced a single moment to generate excitement or even remotely suggest that we were threatening the Chelsea goal. If our fans were quieter than theirs, it's hardly a surprise.
So with that logic in mind how do 90% of away supports at the Etihad manage to massively out sing the home fans when presumably they’ve seen the team sheet and their team has struggled early on ?Exactly right. The harbour side in Porto was rocking, the bus on the way to the ground was rocking, but the team sheet took the edge off and the first 10 minutes of the actual match did the rest. It was obvious very early on that we were going to struggle to break them down at one end, whilst getting shredded on the counter. The best we managed in 90 minutes were a couple of low fizzing crosses and that was pretty much it. Precious little for the fans to get their teeth into
