If you have been a city blue blood as long as i have and as long as i suspect a lot of people on here are you can understand the feelings (I know people have got carried away and thought everything was going to happen overnight what with all the money we're supposed to have) we have see so many false dawns people are beginning to believe it's the usuual City - If it can go wrong it WILL because it's us.
Will take a lot for that syndrome to be worked out of us - I hope what you say is true and all our worries will be erased in January - I'm not getting too excited yet by the way

I have read virtually every post on this forum over the last few days and I feel like we don't deserve good news!

Ajay, the post is well put together, fair play. I don't think people should be ashamed of themselves for being negative, however. I am probably the happiest clapper on here, but it is a forum and as negativity is the way of the world, the forum is clogged with it.
I choose not to read some of the really bad stuff. Basically any thread that has capital letters for a header or is started by a poster I don't know.
Amid all the negativity you do get some rare gems of posts. This was one. How come a lot of the negative posters aren't able to put their opinions across sensibly, instead of HUGHES OUT RAG, nonsense. Well done, lad. Good read

In fairness there are alot of posters who think Hughes should go that can have a debate about it, unfortunately they are diluted by the amount of shite that the rest post.

Ajay, well said. I know for a fact there are rags I know who have been coming on here to gather ammo to throw our way. A lot of the OTT posts on here hand us to them on a plate, and as for any of our benefactors in UAE reading this, well, just how embarrassing is it?

The fact that i have been a blue for so long (38 years man and boy) is the main reason for not joining the circus the kids are creating, it is by no means an excuse to join in. I have gotten sick of hearing that we are a laughing stock over the years, but let me tell you, just now it is our self professed 'best fans in the world' who are making us one all over again!

true, but you have to admit they are few and far between. Scorer could argue the toss but tended to get a bit carried away. Incidentally, has he been seen around or is he really gone?
