We Won !!! No Thanks To Hughes

Being accused of lying is one thing I can't abide.

Having said that, it just shows up your lack of any coherent argument in favour of your point of view.

I couldn't really give a shit what you can't abide.

As for arguments in support of him, I point out the calibre of player that he signs. The improvement in the players like Ireland who really want to play for the club. His knowledge of playing at the top for many years with the rags, Barca, Munich and Chelsea. The fact he is trying to turn us in to a professionally run club unlike that con man Sven. His record for Blackburn that arrogant City fans show disdain for by saying that's ok for a small club, conveniently forgetting we have done fuck all for 30 odd years.

So you can say what you want, but I know the real reason why you don't want him here and will continue to say it.

He's taken us to the last 8 of the UEFA cup & the only thing letting us down is our away form, what will the argument be to get rid if he sorts that out

If he sorts that out then we'll get higher up the league, we will genuinely be progressing & I'd like nothing more than to believe that he's the man to do just this. From the evidence I've seen, he's not.
Fair post.
Cheesy i have no interest whatsoever in the hughes in hughes out bollox.
All i see is our home form is good we are NEARLY in a semi final ffs......but our away form is poor & it can't all be down to bad luck.
The away form is stopping us going forward but i'm sure this will be sorted out,the jigsaw is being put together BUT the away form is a fuckin big puzzle.
That's it & i didn't use "given time"once........he does need it though.

Nice to see reasons behind your opinion ;-) We just look at things in a different way...

Yes, we are in the QF, but we've been lucky to get there.

I see very good players not performing to the best of their ability.

We could have expected more this season with a much improved squad over last year.

All of the above are only my opinion of course :-) I should be entitled to that opinion & unless people can prove otherwise I should be taken at my word and not be accused of disliking MH because he's an ex rag.

It all went wrong when Bridge got injured and another clueless Sven signing in Garrido came on, which meant we where playing with ten men and that is when they pushed us back.

I knew Sven would cop for the blame sooner or later :)

Some people seem to be so obsessed by the rags that they can't think of any reason why Hughes comes in for criticism other than the fact he used to play for them.

Oh here comes the guy who loves to see City lose and then tries to deny it.

You're paranoid me old boy.

Never in my life have I wanted to see City lose, and if you look at my reaction last night on here I was extremely happy that we made it through.

You doing your argument no good by spouting lies.

Nothing to be paranoid about. You always have a go at anyone who sticks up for Hughes. You are the kind of fan who has dragged this club down for over 30 years, along with Mike D, Bob Kowalaski, Cheesy and all the others who constantly snipe at Hughes because you can't stand having an ex rag in charge.

Well fuck you all, and I will keep supporting the manager of my team unlike you.

Your post started promisingly enough with at least some reasoning and then you go and spoil it all by proving yourself to be a dick with your last line.

Why do you pro-Hughes followers always conclude that there are xenophobic reasons behind all those against his management?

Try looking at things differently, last night we saw a capitulation on a par with many other away performances this season, but it should not have been that way, last night we were set up in such a way to defend for the entire game against opposition that would struggle in the championship, it backfired spectacularly we ended up 2-0 down with only 5 minutes left.

Now do you honestly believe such a negative game plan was warranted against opposition considerably inferior to us ?,do you think it was a wise tactical decision seeing as we have been so appalling away from home all season ?

I am sorry but last night for me proved he dose not have a clue.
Absolute rubbish! We where comfortable in the first half and should have done better going forward, but our final pass was rubbish and that was down to the players and not a manager who is on the sidelines. Every time Robinho got the ball he put his foot on it and passed it to the side or backwards. Only once did he take the ball pass a defender and then instead of getting hios head up he shot from an impossible angle. Does he have to wait for the manager to tell him how he should be taking on the full back? Stevie's passing was off and SWP went to pass rather than commit the full back as well. But at least those two put the work in defensively.

It all went wrong when Bridge got injured and another clueless Sven signing in Garrido came on, which meant we where playing with ten men and that is when they pushed us back. Hughes did switch Shauny to the left to help him, although I thought he should have done it sooner.

It really does amaze me when fans like you totally ignore the performance of certain players and blame everything on the manager.
Hang on a minute mate, having a pop at Robinho, when he could have been following orders from Hughes himself, yes I accept he seems to want to pass backwards and side ways a lot, try entertaining the idea he was following a game plan.

I suspect his lack in form is more influenced by how he is asked to play by Hughes, the lad’s confidence looks destroyed but it does not stop Hughes playing him and keeping him in the spotlight of the vultures of the media,

This is the same manager who destroyed Jo confidence had a huge fall out with Elano, prior to needing him to save his tripe..

It seems to me the impact players we have seem to struggle under Hughes.

That's because that twat took the piss out of this club and when he was found out was totally fucking clueless, just like when he was England manager.

What the fuck are you on about! A so called world class player can't figure out defenders from a pub team (according to some on here) and has to have the fucking manager hold his hand for 90 minutes. Don't get me started on that waste of space Jo, who was bought because Sven wanted him in January and his club wouldn't sell. Then there is Elano who is still living off his Newcastle goal from last season.

Hey! But I am talking shit, because they are the amazing Brazilians who nobody can criticise!

Ah so not a fan of Sven then. Not happy when he was manager, glad he was sacked I take it?

Dear oh dear, you really are obsessed by the rags, lie awake all night thinking of Giggsy and Nevsy I expect.

How embarrassing for you.
