Oh dear God, I give up I really do. For the umpteenth time... I couldn't give a toss about the past connections of anyone at the club as long as they are the right person for the job. I happen to think that MH is not the right man.

Now, any chance of answering the question?

You are a liar who hasn't got the balls to tell the truth!

Don't go there. Seriously.

Now, are you going to answer the question?

What do you mean don't go there? Is that supposed to be a threat you clown?

He's taken us to the last 8 of the UEFA cup & the only thing letting us down is our away form, what will the argument be to get rid if he sorts that out

If he sorts that out then we'll get higher up the league, we will genuinely be progressing & I'd like nothing more than to believe that he's the man to do just this. From the evidence I've seen, he's not.

Some people seem to be so obsessed by the rags that they can't think of any reason why Hughes comes in for criticism other than the fact he used to play for them.

Oh here comes the guy who loves to see City lose and then tries to deny it.

You couldn't make it up, were throug to the quarter final of the UEFA Cup, are favourites to win it, and people having a pop at Hughes.

Yes we should have done better last night, but we should have been thrashed at home against the rags last season, but no-one complained then did they?

A few years ago we should have beated Bolton, and were suckerpunched in the last min, but yet no-one blamed the manager.

But yet theres no agenda against the current manager is there?

Being accused of lying is one thing I can't abide.

Having said that, it just shows up your lack of any coherent argument in favour of your point of view.

You're paranoid me old boy.

Never in my life have I wanted to see City lose, and if you look at my reaction last night on here I was extremely happy that we made it through.

You doing your argument no good by spouting lies.

If he sorts that out I'd say there would be a lot less criticism of him.
The thing is imo to sort that out he needs to play a 4-4-2 with 11 players that put it in and don't hide. The way we finished against Villa looked perfect for an away game and that team imo would have won a load of away games that we haven't won this season. The team was: Given, Zabaleta, Dunne, Onuoha, Bridge, Ireland, Kompany, Fernandes (swap him with de Jong), Ireland, Bojinov, Evans. That team would definitely have won away games this season.

No it isn't a ploy, posters on here want rid because he's a rag, posters on here want us to lose because he's a rag.
Run a poll & let's see if they have the balls to say it.
I've given my view to the blindman above, btw.

In fairness Hughes having the management ability and leadership skills of a dead sheep does influence a lot of peoples thinking.
Why do you pro-Hughes followers always conclude that there are xenophobic reasons behind all those against his management?

Try looking at things differently, last night we saw a capitulation on a par with many other away performances this season, but it should not have been that way, last night we were set up in such a way to defend for the entire game against opposition that would struggle in the championship, it backfired spectacularly we ended up 2-0 down with only 5 minutes left.

Now do you honestly believe such a negative game plan was warranted against opposition considerably inferior to us ?,do you think it was a wise tactical decision seeing as we have been so appalling away from home all season ?

I am sorry but last night for me proved he dose not have a clue.
Absolute rubbish! We where comfortable in the first half and should have done better going forward, but our final pass was rubbish and that was down to the players and not a manager who is on the sidelines. Every time Robinho got the ball he put his foot on it and passed it to the side or backwards. Only once did he take the ball pass a defender and then instead of getting hios head up he shot from an impossible angle. Does he have to wait for the manager to tell him how he should be taking on the full back? Stevie's passing was off and SWP went to pass rather than commit the full back as well. But at least those two put the work in defensively.

It all went wrong when Bridge got injured and another clueless Sven signing in Garrido came on, which meant we where playing with ten men and that is when they pushed us back. Hughes did switch Shauny to the left to help him, although I thought he should have done it sooner.

It really does amaze me when fans like you totally ignore the performance of certain players and blame everything on the manager.

Fair post.
Cheesy i have no interest whatsoever in the hughes in hughes out bollox.
All i see is our home form is good we are NEARLY in a semi final ffs......but our away form is poor & it can't all be down to bad luck.
The away form is stopping us going forward but i'm sure this will be sorted out,the jigsaw is being put together BUT the away form is a fuckin big puzzle.
That's it & i didn't use "given time"once........he does need it though.
