Weight loss jabs

If you take the jab surely you have to implement a healthy lifestyle to stay 'slim' long term. Why not just make the lifestyle changes in the first place?
because people are too lazy to do that and lack the self-will to modify their lifestyle and eating habits to the better. Only have to go to my gym and see the fat f**ks who are on the treadmills doing gentle walks for half an hour thinking that'll make any difference. No doubt they whine to their friends 'i go to the gym 3 times a week but the weight just won't come off' - nothing to do with the chicken nuggets and chips you shovel down your throat every night.

it's the generation(s) we now have, "must have it now", whatever is deemed quick and no-effort will be picked :-(

Not sure how these jabs work. Do they stimulate the glands to produce the "full" feeling? If so most overweight people already override that hormone by measuring needs by their eyes.
They then eat excessively ie ignore the full hormone.

Someone with more medical knowledge than me can answer the technical reasons.
Put simply, they send messages to the brain which turns off “food noise” so you are not constantly thinking about food as most obese people do.
Mounjaro sends 2 messages which it is why it is the most successful,
Wigovy only sends out one.
Like anything you also have to be determined to lose weight.
It isn’t eat anything you want, it’s an assist rather than a cure .
The hardest thing is accommodating it in to family life as others around you may suffer from your diet and alcohol changes.
The curry houses and pubs don’t quite have the same attraction as they once had .
But I suppose that happens when anyone who is around you diets.

The problem with that report is that it doesnt take into account where people are purchasing it from, its very similar to another report last week about the dangers of botox but the report then goes on to say that alot of people are having them administered in public toilets etc, theres risks with any drugs for anything and you have to mitigate that, the weight loss jabs are an aid and should be seen as such just like the gym is an aid and the change in diet is an aid.

Sure but it's about changing your lifestyle when you're on the jabs. Then when you're off you carry on. Difference id you will just be more hungry but it's about managing that willpower

Are these fat fucks as you call them just trying and starting to get healthy, unless of course you know different. Perhaps you follow them either to watch them eat chicken nuggets and chips or are you just stalking them at the gym. Constantly fat fuck watching to see if they do lose weight or not.

Probably hoping they don’t so it feeds your views. Who knows on the above.

However, If at the gym, why not go over and encourage them, maybe help, ask what they looking to do and if you know what exercise is best show them?

Might make you feel better about it all.

People like him are a large part of the reason why people dont go to the gym in the first place as who needs to be mocked and ridiculed when they are just attempting to get healthy and then the cycle perpetuates itself.

And the other side of that is embarrassment, when looking at others, that they got themselves into that state. It's not all one way.

And either way, it's a good enough excuse to shy away when everyone should get their heads down and just work.

If someone makes the effort, which a lot are accused of not doing, to actually go to the gym then they should be encouraged, not mocked or ridiculed by small minded people

That might be why they shy away.

whatever 'state' you are in or not in is no reason for anyone to mock anyone trying to improve themselves, everyone is at different stages of whatever they are trying to do and have their own reasons for getting to where they are, the problem with weight gain is that it creeps up on you an extra portion here and there, going up one size and not thinking about it, life, kids etc getting in the way of not taking care of yourself and before you know it you are not where you want to be and the realization hits you all at once whether its a health scare, a comment from a love one etc etc and then you start to make improvements and gyms are scary places for alot of people but nobody should ever be made to feel ashamed for attending one, dont nobody start off with a 6 pack and also dont assume that cos somebody is slim it automatically equates to health as it absolutely does not.

It's absurd to think that people who are seriously overweight can just eat healthy & go to the gym & they will suddenly start to lose the weight.

We all have a BMR which is a Basal Metabolic Rate and its the amount of calories we need to consume just to function at a basic level & obviously the fatter you are the more calories you need

If you've never been in the depression comfort eating cycle, then you won't understand how you don't care about your health

The ironic thing about the weight loss jabs is that it's the ones who are using it as a short term fix to lose weight for a wedding or a holiday who are abusing it.

It was originally a diabetic treatment but was sold in American to the fitness world as a way of losing stubborn belly fat, it then became scarce & expensive to obtain, which why the NHS for a longtime wouldnt prescribed it.

Who, openly, "mocks" heavy people in the gym??

Do you think the whole gym gets together, points and laughs?

I know when I've seen bigger people in the gym, in my head I say "Go on, son!" or "Go on, girl!". Don't ever recall seeing someone mocking anyone.

My daughter is of a standard weight for her size and age, being a former boxer, and she feels like all eyes are on her when she's in the gym!! I'm astonished by her mindset, so I feel MOSTLY, this is a self confidence issue.

Like I said just now, this is a self confidence issue that strikes everyone of all sizes. I don't recall seeing "mocking" in the gym. I just don't see it. Maybe it was a long time ago, but those idiots (apart from the odd fucked up attention seeking clown on social media) are not welcome in the gym.

I think most people know this, but still use it as a crutch.

depends on the gym i suppose, ive seen it prevalent in a few and an undercurrent in others, especially in this age where everyone is filming or snapping for the gram.

The timing of this release has the sceptic inside of me thinking it's more to do with reducing the stampede down at the doctors surgeries after June 23rd.

Clearly it's not for everyone, but to be fair most medicines can and do carry side effects. If Mounjaro is working for people and assisting them in reduce their poundage, then more power to their elbow.

As mentioned on page four, it's not for me as I'm not keen on needles and sharps, but there are alternatives out there that can mimic GLP-1 and thought the article below was a very interesting read from Dr Berg. Maybe before trying Mounjaro it's worth investigating other avenues of treatment and then, if your still struggling . .. ...
