Welcome Kyle Walker

I remember seeing clips of Jo, RSC and Samaras before we signed them too.
Disappointed we signed Spurs reserve full back for so much money but hopefully he performs well for us next season.
Are you being serious?

Feel sorry for the guy. Hasn't a trophy to his name playing for Spurs except individual ones. We'll change that. Welcome Kyle.
I suppose the irony is that now being in the beautiful sky blue all those individual awards will go elsewhere. Important signing for us. Look forward to seeing him.

Change the record pal,it reads equally as ridiculous as it did in his previous thread.

It's pointless looking at the fee's in this market.

At the end of the day if he turns up and delivers on the pitch that's all that matters. Nobody will end up talking about his fee.

It looks a heavy price for a good, determined right back with pace. But if Pep reckons he's worth it and instrumental, then hey ho welcome to Man City Kyle and fill your boots for the fans lad!

I know, you never hear "Yeah, he won Serie A, La Liga, the Champions League, the Euros, the World Cup, and a Ballon d'Or, but did you see how much he bloody cost Real? 150 billion lire? You have to be joking!"

Glad we got Kyle. Very expensive but I think he'll be worth it. He had a great interview. Mentioned titles quite a bit.

Thank you , whoever got this done.
This doesn't make us complete, but boy does it help.
Don't know or care what we paid, but came home pissed and saw the news on French t.v. here in the states.
Happy days.

I just find it funny how fast the narrative changes when English players join us.

Sterling: Best English talent in generations etc - Joins City becomes overrated and attacked from everything from buying his mum a sink to shopping in poundland.

Stones: The next Ferdinand at Everton suddenly becomes shite player who should hoof it into Row Z every chance he gets.

Walker: Best English RB, defended to the hilt whenever he did something wrong now becomes shite player who can't even cross the ball. Overpriced blah blah blah.

Like as soon as the ink drys on their City contracts the whole media flicks a switch and goes onto the attack.
+1. Remember how everybody praised Stones when he linked with mourinho's chelsea and considered replacement of johb terry.

No doubt the pundits on Sky and BT will say we paid too much but we paid what our club (not our owner) could afford which is a bit better than how they gazumped each other over TV rights for PL games.
He will perform at PL level unlike some we have bought for just market price who simply could not cut it when included in our team so we definitely paid too much for that category. Maybe his game lacks a little at really world class level but his overall game has been proven in our league and he is likely to step up with Pep´s guidance.

Now we can play inverted wingers rather than inverted full backs :) Bernardo/Sané from the right. Sanchez (please!)/Jesus from the left. Sterling in the mix too. I think having fullbacks to provide the width as opposed to wingers will see Sané develop into a phenomenon...
