But Pep seems to love him, and Pep can make any player better so he clearly sees something in this guy that can take him to the top

Potentially a superb piece of business by City.

Didn't see much of him at Wolves but suspect that he found it difficult in a relatively poor side. Suspect Pep will get the best of out of him. He clearly has plenty of ability. He's also another player who adds pace and power to our squad whilst maintaining the technical quality of the group.

He obviously pissed Wolves off at the end but you get the sense from his interview that he was just desperate to join City, and who can blame him.
 
Looking forward to seeing how he fits in at City, and hopefully now we finally have the options that will allow us to rest Rodri more often. Even Txiki seems a bit underwhelmed by the signing though ;)
