You're with God's own now fella. What a time to be Sergio Gomez.
Madness for a 21 year old left back :)7 goals and 15 assists last season ! That is madness for a left back. No wonder he mentions playing as a striker and a creative player before this shift.
Hes wearing the shirt to prove it.. Awesome. Some of the older fans (from other clubs) will probably not face up to this, players of Sergio Gomez's age grew up watching us be the team lifting trophies in the past decade. Same way how in the past, the players always claim Madrid/Barca/United etc are their 'dream clubs'.

Why City breaking the bank and spending 11 Million on Sergio Gomez a City Fan(evidence in pictures) is good for Livarpools title chances.A paltry 11m and clearly a City fan.
I’m absolutely sick of us spunking enormous, market inflating sums on these cuntish mercenaries who are only here for the massive brown envelope wages.
What have people said that is unrealistic? All I have seen is people excited by his signing & rightly so, also I don’t think anybody has said he’s better than Zinchenko however you have just said he isn’t, how do you know he isn’t?Can we please stay a bit realistic and objective. Before Chelsea signed him, on here Cucurella was by far the best LB in the world. And we needed a LB asap. Without one we were in crisis.
Now we signed a LB that hardly anyone saw coming. From the Belgium league. And we are bigging him up like he was always a better player than Zinchenko. He’s not and has a lot to proof.
Again Gomez seems a genuine nice lad. Supported City as a young man. Great. Again not a natural LB. So maybe suited to play Peps’ way. And hopefully turning out a bargain. But for the player it’s a huge step from all angels. So please let’s just see how he develops this season. If all goes well we might have two great LBs in him and JWE for the long run.
Where's the fun in that! He's either world class from day 1 or we should get rid imoCan we please stay a bit realistic and objective. Before Chelsea signed him, on here Cucurella was by far the best LB in the world. And we needed a LB asap. Without one we were in crisis.
