Welcome to City Maximo Perrone

I think its safe to say Kalvin has been a disaster signing so far so someone who can offer us some metal in middle of the park to help Rodders out is much needed

One start because of injures and a operation on a long concern regarding his shoulder! Love these overreactions! Once he gets a run of games then judge you can’t judge someone after one start!

Harsh that mate. Alvarez has only been here for 2 minutes, so don’t you think to blame him, or any other individual player, for our ‘struggles’ is a bit stupid seeing as it’s a team game?
I am not talking about Alvarez, I am defending him, I was talking about our 100m Player and his fanboys saying he needs 18months to settle in.

F..k me. There are some right troggs on here. I have never, ever called out a City player no matter how crap they have played. These guys play for MY team and get my 100% support no matter what. Disappointed when they don’t play well? Certainly, but never, ever call them. It is when they don’t play well that they need our support all the more.

CTID (and it gets closer).

While i think you are right to defend Alvarez. I don't think Alvarez only obstacle for game time is settling in/performance. It's also Haaland and the system. It's very hard to imagine Pep switching to a 2 striker system. No matter how good Alvarez performs.

Mate, how many times must Jack reiterate he's playing to Pep's instructions, & not to his own natural instincts as he's always done at Villa?

He wants to attack as he did at Villa, but if you wanna remain in the team, you do as Pep says or you're out.

What we're missing is a couple of lightning fast wingers like Mudryk & Chiesa who can add pace & an unpredictable jeopardy to our attack. Since Sané & Sterling, we haven't had anyone who can do the same.

If controlling the game isn't producing the goal scoring opportunities we're looking for, the closest we have is Phil & Riyad.

Also, it's not just Jack who needs 18 months to settle in, it seems Pep also needs 18 months to figure out how best to get the most out of our evolving squad.

Also if Gundog & Bernardo leave in the summer, it leaves us with quite a bit to do in terms of rebuilding & yet more settling in time for new recruits.

2 x CM, 1 or 2 specialist left footed LB's & 2 x L/RW. Added to the changes over the last 18 months, it's a wonder that we're still hitting heights we are...

Oh c'mon keep to the narrative ffs :)

As in him as a player being unlucky with injuries having an operation that keeps him out for a long time and then him coming back overweight from the World Cup?

Is this what you mean as a shambles!?
As in what he has offered us for 1st half of season where we are well behind 1st, replacing a key player in Ferna then absolutely YES. Why pep didnt bring him on when we were 1up at rags further highlights this. Cant wait to see Kalvin look a monster soon and help us get the ball higher up the pitch with more time to pick right passes and intercept line breaking balls/ kick shit out of opp danger players etc etc. I cant wait!
