Re: Elano causing trouble???

We pay these idiots wages, if this is true Elano should fook off now and never come near again.
Same for anyone else who does not want to do a job they are paid VERY WELL to do.
At the moment we are looking more like a shite soap than a Premiership team! WTF is wrong with these people.

Regardless of what ever so called theories there are about Elano his is a qaulity player and he has more than proven this last season.

He proved it for about HALF a season. Rest of it, he was shit. How many times did Sven have to sub him?

Furthermore a good player of his undoubted does not turn him into a bad player over night.

Correction: No, he was bad for the last half of the season more or less.

The problem with Elano is simple Mark Hughes and his poor management skills.

If that's the case, why was he so poor under the majority of Svens time?

True but if Elano did cause Jo to pull a sickie then maybe we wouldn't have played Vassel and mght have had more of a cutting edge which would have pushed WBA back and forced them to play more defensively, thereby reducing the pressure on our defence.
'Jo' and 'cutting edge' aren't words I'd have put together in a sentence.

Fair point but then I was speaking in relative terms... and qualifying it with a maybe

What I meant was that he couldn't have been any worse than Vassel now could he so anything extra might have made a difference. Imagine if we'd have scored first for example? I think it could have given us enough of a lift to kill the game off. As it was we conceded, were forced to chase the game and then went suicidally for all 3 points.

Re: Elano causing trouble???

About 2 months ago I heard from sources within the club that Elano has been disruptive and causing trouble... seems like it's all come out now.

I won't be sorry to see him go.

Elano is to blame for his won attitude. Hughes is to blame for City being 18th in the Premiership with a squad capable of being top half.

Debatable, how can you united your dressing room if every thing you do is constantly undermined by one of your players. If this was a player who wasn't a darling of the City fans most would all be shouting for him to be training with the youth team.

There is no evidence at all that this is going on. People who have watched training say Elano works hard.

Hughes is a petulant kid slagging his players through the press and is dragging the club through the mud.

maybe if you asked crespo, shevchenko, pizzaro, kezman, tiago, jiri jarosik, Khalid Boulahrouz,
maniche, ben haim, steve sidwell, lassana Diarra and S W P, just some of the players he had, and
either did not work out or just flopped under Mourinho. he can make mistakes

What he said which is a very good point.

Re: Elano causing trouble???

Mirror putting 2 and 2 together. Easy story to make up after Elano was left out of the squad on Sunday

Re: Elano causing trouble???

I like Elano and would love him to get back to his form of the start of last season, but lets be honest, he has been gash since he got found out last Xmas and since then, our form has been relegation standard. Not saying its all his fault but to me he doesnt have a position you can play him in which will not weaken other areas on the pitch. You play him in the middle, and he offers nothing defensively and goes missing for large periods, you play him up front and you lose the presence of a forward, he cant play on the left or right so what do you do with him?
