And a VERY Merry Christmas to you too A.xx

When you think about it nobody knows how things will pan out....but in the first time in a very long time it is sure going to be very interesting.

Can't wait. ;-)

I have every faith in our new owners.

So you should Sharon...bottom line is that EITHER Hughes will get it right, or they'll get someone who will. All this foaming at the mouth on this board is really very undignified....

Glad Elano's being shipped out though...by all accounts he's a real cocky little shit. Thinks he's Pele, when he isn't much better than Jason Koumas...;- )

I just want to see a long term plan. If that is Hughes at this point....then good on him.
If it isn't...then I still hope they ship out the deadwood and the troublemakers.

PS......who the eff is Koumas? ;-)

Nobody disputes Elano's ability Moomba, but the disciplinary problems determine his fate unfortunately. It won't be tolerated, and i guess there's more to this than we know about.

As far as i i'm aware, Elano was fined for press comments? I don't recall the manager being quoted in explicit reference to Elano?

By the sounds of things, relations haven't improved, and so the player leaves. I think there are plenty of players available in the Summer as good as or better than Elano, and i won't lose sleep over him. Or a Robinho/Jo exit also in the summer.

Wwhy don't we just f**k em off now bring in RSC, Belamy and I believe Savage is available on a free. We just become another Blackburn flirting between 6 and 10th position each season but never any higher.

Got to learn to walk before you can run. Blackburn never had the finances to push on from where they were, that's the limit of what they could achieve, we have the potential and resources to reach the very top. We obviously have some very talented players in the squad, but i think our squad is very unbalanced, thin and also split, it seems to lack a togetherness and a strong, reliable spine for the team to be based around. I think we need a major overhaul, with or without Hughes, to build a strong and consistant side, with a bit of depth to it (see Everton/Villa/Hughes' Blackburn). Once we get that, then we can push on and try and break the top 4.

Or we're just going to go and buy a bunch of superstars, pay them astronomical wages, and hope they turn into a team.

Re: Elano causing trouble???

Sounds like from what I've heard from various sources over the last couple of days Elano is disruptive, but he's not alone in his dislike for Hughes, just seems to be the scapegoat and bare the brunt of the stick

I m fed up of reading this "Elano is nt good enough crap mind"..........if hes not good enough, then why are Arsenal now sniffing round him?

And why are people getting excited about Santa Cruz when Elano has scored as many goals as him this season, whilst proabably being on the pitch for half the time and playing in midfield?????

And if he Elano doesnt fancy the fitness training, well thats not great, but I do remember a certain Mr Geovanni being a renowned slacker in training hence he didnt start for us............lo and behold he's gone elsewhere and has probably been one of the consistent performers in the Premiership this season.

Some good points there BB.

I too wondered why Geovannui was shipped out. Thought he could have done a decent job for us this season. But, for some reason, Sven wasn't impressed. And neither was Hughes.

No idea why really. I liked him, and thought he could do a job for us for a few seasons.

As for Elano....for all Moomba's stats, I don't rate him.

Ad the fact that he is cited as a troublemaker and a tw8t just says to me that he has to go. Doesn't matter how "good" you are (and lets face it....he isn't) he has to go.

Re: Elano causing trouble???

For all these morons suggesting that Elano is a trouble causer ask yourelf this

When was the last time Hamman became unsettled at a club and started causing trouble
How about Ball I mean he's a real nasty piece of work when he gets going
Jo he's brazillian so he's gota be a trouble

You should all give your f**kin heads a wobble and think well there might just be someone causing all this especially with some very experienced players. Those without there head buried up there arse waiting for the magic f**kin wand to come out and bring all these magicains like RSC, Bellamy and Savage to save our season, might realise that Hughes is the tw*t stirring up sh*t ignoring players causing splits n the dressing room.

So are Middlesbrough, allegedly.

Re: Elano causing trouble???

Well now we know why your called trigger, automatic machine gun mouth, in a nice way, tell it how it is. And if you ask me, the wages are the only reason 95 % of 'em are init for. What the fuck 'appened to passion ? If the players were made to work for normal measley wages alongside their prefered career then the true feeling for the game might just come back to 'em. Surely that would filter out the true talented footballers from the £ sign eyes, we all pay to see ! ! !

Re: Elano causing trouble???

Hughes was'nt unimpressed by Giovanni, the deal had been done and the decision to let him go before Hughes arrived. He has already explained that in the run up to the Hull away fixture

Elano would suit arsenal to a tee. Lovely footballer capable of great things on his day, but weak, petulant and totally spineless and will always come undone against the boltons and middlesbrough's of this world.

Good post. There is no evidence that Elano is a trouble causer other than what Hughes leaks in the press himself, LOL. From going off here though most of our fans will be delighted when Elano goes and Bellamy comes in. I thought we were aiming bigger than that tbh..
