Wembley desire

It’ll happen one day but a cup final v the rags will be an absolute nightmare.

The novelty wore off for me when we began to dominate the League Cup. Attending became an expensive chore.

I got over it but the Wigan FA Cup loss haunted me. To the day, I’ve never seen the highlights.

Could happen this season, and as you say would be an absolute nightmare a final v them, not just there, but all the way there and all the way back as well

I wouldn't worry too much about meeting rags on the way to Wembley or on the way back.
In 2011 we saw just a couple of cars with reds scarves hanging out the windows, all the way down the M6 and M40 into North-West London.
All the rag twats live within the M40, it's a tube ride each way for the wankers.

Why would it be an absolute nightmare?
Like when we played them there in 2011 we won't see many on the motorway till Watford, and after we put them in their place it'll be their nightmare.

Appreciate many City fans enjoy the day, but I hate it. The day and the Wembley novelty wore off long ago. It’s just an expensive and long day, made worse by a defeat at Wembley. As for the FA, they can fuck off. Seeing Rick Parry greeting the teams today made me feel sick.

The reason a mini bus full of the cunts pulled on same services as us in a car, came the **** about 12 of them, but got fucked off, just can’t be arsed with the hassle as you get older mate that’s why it would be a nightmare

More the stress of the day. City v rags in a competitive final has never happened (unless I’m mistaken?) and it’d be nervous due to the pride at stake.

They’ve picked up under Ten Haag and may well become a threat again.

And very generous officiating

Being at Wembley is of course a sign of success but it’s a bit of an ordeal and a horrible experience to lose there. Crap Stadium, rip-off prices, takes an age to get away and with some honourable exceptions such as Sunderland it seems to bring out the most knobhead opposition fans.
Not just opposition fans to be fair. It’s like some people have never been out of their own village the way they behave. Level 5 is shite at Wembley.

We stopped at a service station on the M40 and when I went inside it was a sea of blue, with an occasional red shirt dotted in and not a hint of trouble
I grabbed two coffees, walked out just as a coach load of rags had turned up, so I had to walk past them holding these two drinks
I looked st them, they looked at me and we all knew what they wanted to do, but they also knew that if they did, someone was going to get fucking clobbered
Anyway they strolled into the services singing their nursery rhymes and a couple of minutes later they were getting absolutely battered
One, next to his bus shouted at a City fan, who looked quite handy, "fucking come on then" so he did. The rag ended up backwards in some bushes
And as their coach left it got pelted with missiles

From beating Arsenal in Feb 2018 to beating Villa in March 2020, we had 7 Wembley trips (3 LC Final, 1 x FA Cup Semi, 1 x FA Cup Final & 2 x Charity Shield) add in 2 trips to play Spurs in the league as well as its understandable that for some it became a bit of a chore despite winning on every visit, mainly due to the cost involved but also how much of a ball ache it is to get there and back.

Ironically despite that, the Spurs game in the league final I was lucky enough to a get a ticket for and I couldn't wait to get down there due to being locked up for Covid, I guess absence makes the heat grow fonder and all that

After giving the Leicester Charity shied game a swerve, it was a bit of a reality check to get beat by the Scousers in the FA Cup Semi last season, i hadn't seen us get beat there since the Wigan cup final (again didn't make it to the 2 defeats by Arsenal in the Cup semi and the charity shield), so im actually chomping at the bit to get back there and make up for it.
