Seeing as half the rag coaches have had to be hired from Yorkshire because Manchester coach firms have already been booked up, it will be intersting to see if they make it down the M62 never mind the M6-M40
.
I can just see you 2 daft buggers bumping into 30 rag coaches .

Re: 'Blue' and 'Red' Route to Wembley Confirmed

Most probably the best and most direst route in anyway... M6 - M1 and then north circular.. doddle

Just had it confirmed from the outfit who I'm hiring a coach from that City will be on the M6-M1 route and Utd on the M6-M40 route. No coaches with fans on will be able to stop at services until after the junction of the M6-M42. Corley and Watford Gap are likely to be the busiest Services for us. Also been told that any coaches with pissed up or 'rowdy' fans will be turned back under police escort.

While I can understand the dibble having alternative service stations all the way there, there is no way they can say no coaches can stop from Manchester until after Birmingham. This is a free country last time i checked, not a police state.

Not long now dude, not long now. I'd say we are at 75% right now.

Ah?

I thought United fans were taking the M25 route.
Its going to be a hell of a mess when the ryanair 737s start touching down on there.

Re: 'Blue' and 'Red' Route to Wembley Confirmed

Personally I dont really see the need to get hammered on the way down. Most will have arrived by lunchtime and that gives 5 hours drinking before kick off. Is that not enough?

A lad at our place (Rag) who went to Barcelona in 99 said that 2 blokes were that pissed before the game they just fell asleep, couldnt be roused and missed the game. Seems a bit daft to me that.

We are thinking of starting in Harrow and heading to Green Man bit later. Any harrow pubs blue?
