He was one of the few Dutch players to perform, but this thread shares something with the striker threads on this board.......we don't need a World Class player in that position.

He could sit in Barrys position and is better and 3 years younger.

When has Sneijder EVER played in that position???

He has no engine and his legs are all but gone...

He plays in the hole where we already have 2/3 incredible players.

Very impressive for a player to perform when almost everyone else flops but if you sign Sneijder you'd have to sell Nasri, Silva or maybe Tevez. All these players would expect to play and they all can't.

Sneijder has always looked class to me but now being 28 and in his pomp he will demand 200k a week!

City can't be doing that anymore with FFP etc.. I am pretty sure City are now going to start putting in wage caps, how can you sustain a business offering all the top players we want to buy 200k a week so they will choose nobody else but City - sometimes we are going to have to take hits on players i.e Hazard.

Cracking player but we don't need a CAM. Certainly not Muller. Sneijdet tops all targets if we want a CAM as he's a beast at set pieces but we need a CM and CB. Not another attacker.

Don't think he would offer enough defensively in a 2 with YaYa and would not replace Silva or Nasri in an attacking role.

hes currently on £250,000 a week tax free thats ermmm roughly £400,000 a week uk + he'll prob want more than hes on now at inter so lump it up a bit ...
then yaya, sergio, micah, gareth, nige etc all get the hump cause its waaaay above their astronomical wages

i think its a no - go area

lets concentrate on realistic targets like Schweinsteiger who for me is absolute quality with consistent performances in all matches + messi.

Schweinstager is about as realistic as Messi. Bayern lad, will never leave, club wouldn't sell, etc. No chance.
