I think this type of selection is why people will defend Jesus. He gets a very good goal and everyone is hoping he can build on it and get back into form. He’s left out again. I’d get it if he were being left out for players in great form but Mahrez and Sterling are way off and have had far more chances.. Strong line up though, just feel Jesus gets different treatment along with others to others.

I reckon Phil will be the one pulling the strings in the middle, Bernie/FFS/Sterling can all swap around in the front 3.

I know Sterling and Jesus can be played back into form, just like Bernardo, and Cancelo before him and Gundogan before him.

No amount of game time will make Mahrez give a shit.
