What's with this background music on Sky? It's Man City vs West Brom, no the Gladiator.

Well, if that team cannot beat Pulis, we are in deeper shit that anyone thinks we are. As for Pellers not giving a shit, I don't buy into that. Yes, he won't be here next season, but he has always come across as having pride and I believe he will continue till the very last game.
I've said the same all season but looking at that team I'm afraid we're both very wrong. This is a massive weekend with the fixtures as they are. If we win it'll be 5 clear of West ham and possibly 4 ahead of the scum.

People who are angry with MP resting players seriously need a hit on their head and get their bloody priorities straight. You guys seriously want to ruin our CL chances by putting out a full strength squad against WEST BROM? God stand by me. The team that has been put out has still way more quality than West Brom. PSG are resting all their outfield players today. If it was up to me Aguero wouldn't even be on the bench and Kelechi would've started ahead of him. We need to be at our best come tuesday, so cry me a river. Would much rather lose here and beat PSG. We will get top 4, no matter how hard you flappers convince yourselves we wont.

I worry a bit about where the creativity is coming from with that team. I am going to hit the roof if we don't collect the three points and ease away from West Ham and probably the scum. And like Karen says, we have bus issues with the twat, Pulis.

What is the most stupid is that if it goes wrong then he has to bring on the likes of De Bruyne late in the game after sitting on the bench. This is more likely to effect Tuesday than playing him early, winning the game and taking him off early.

That was the right choice. But Pelle might get lucky and we get an early goal or two. If we don't it will be a longer night than it needed to be.

We need to win for Tuesdays sake as much as we do for top 4. We have built up momentum and confidence is returning. It can evaporate quickly if we struggle against a brick wall.

But hey ho, we should still win with the players we have and Pelle is obviously counting on that factor to get us through. He might be lucky.

Why not start De Bruyne or Toure for 45 mins? Get the job done then whiz them off. The lack of ball players and creativity in that side is shocking.
Totally agree. Relying on zaba and Kolarov to create

Couldn't have put it better myself. Truly shocking selection

The lineup today shows the strength in depth and quality of the squad but we haven't been able to utilize the squad properly primarily because of the constant injuries. Yaya Toure is back in the squad, which is a big positive going into tuesday. The responsibility and attention will be on the likes of Nasri and Bony for different reasons. Nasri in a theoretical sense will have the responsibility of dictating the pace of the game and creating opportunities, whereas Bony will see this as an opportunity to build confidence by putting in a good performance.

Next season things will be different in terms of the somewhat backwards strategy of resting players for some theoretical advantage, but then again, it might not be because the English league has four competitions and no Christmas break compared to Germany and Spain. So perhaps Guardiola will also rest players in certain situations.

Today is a must win, finishing top 4 is as important as anything, and the squad have more than enough in the starting line up and the bench to get the win. The team is still very strong despite the changes.

Regardless of team selection, I'm always confident at home against sides like West Brom when Aguero is playing

Just posted the same thing. Can't believe this selection at all.

Conversely, we could play all the big guns and not be leading after 75 mins and then there burnt out for Tues
