Great at times in the first half but so sloppy at times in the second. We don't appear to be able to concentrate for 90 minutes away from home and it's still a huge worry despite the win imo.

I am not sure that is a fair assessment, it was a bizarre own goal and a well taken shot

I agree with Lancet. We switched off completely for the last 10minutes and our defence is still very fragile.
Superb first half but pretty poor for the majority of the second half.

Never thought we were in danger of drawing/losing. Din't really panic either. That said every top team has dropped points against WBA, so great to go to Hawthornes and get the 3 points. Good to see some important players given a bit of rest.
Kompany looked simply amazing. Southampton for all their good play do score a lot from set pieces and scored two headers today, so Lescott and Kompany on Sunday.

I'm thinking more of the way we gave away possession in some dodgy areas in the second half and gave them hope that they could get back in the game more than the goals, although I thought their second goal was poor defensively tbh.

Three away points taken in a tough ground. I am happy.

Thought Chris Foy was utter shit tonight. Not saying in any way that we alone were hard done by him or whatever. He was just shit, period. Allowed way too much garbage to go on out there. Don't mind a ref letting the lads play but once everything starts being let go, liberties can be taken.

I understand that the substitutions tonight might have opened the door for WBA to some degree, but please remember to look at the fixture list. Congestion reigns for now and rotation is a necessary evil. We got out of the Hawthorns with maximum points. All in all, a good day for City.

Onward and Upward.

Was it 3-0 or 3-1 when Garcia came on?

0-3 then Garcia tried clearing it and he sliced it to the corner flag that west Brom got and that's where there first goal came from

Give the attacking players time off the training pitch and focus on defence, defence, defence. Get that right and we´re sorted.
I´ll take that win - now we need 2 more

And what is it about Garcia ? Just keep him off the fookin pitch ffs Pellers!!!

Why were you watching our game Kato?
Have to say I might prefer him to the fucking moaning women we've infesting the forum.
A bit odd that he didn't watch his own game instead of being streamed to ours.
I think he said he was watching both. To be fair I was watching three myself while stuck at work.

-- Wed Dec 04, 2013 6:53 pm --

How far back do you have to go to blame Garcia
Yeah these were on Demichelis. He looked about as comfortable on the left that last few minutes as Lescott does on the right.

So how many clear cut chances did they have in the 75 minutes he was on the bench and how many in the 15 he was on the pitch? I'm just wondering because apparently he is fantastic at shielding the back four.
