West Brom Vs City Post Match Thread

Great new song in the Royal Oak pre game:

"Ohhh raheem sterling's magic, he wears a magic hat, and when he spoke with Manuel he said I fancy that, he didn't sign for Liverpool because they're fucking shite, he signed for super - city cos they're fucking dynamite!"
But that's Zaba's song and he did sign for Liverpool.

If anyone argues that, they're a **** and should stop watching football.

Works bloody hard, has bags of pace and you cannot fault his tenacity and commitment.. but he lacks...... something...? Anyone That can't see that needs to have another look.

My only complaint, and I'm holding back a rant here, is the substitutions!!! We were 3 nil up with have an hour to go, perfect opportunity to think longer term. Aguero on for match fitness I agree with and predicted that one, you could maybe argue that nasri was for the same reason but mdm on was poor. Perfect opportunity to play Denayer or go 442 and bring on nacho. Playing mdm for 10 minutes achieved nothing whereas a debut for a former eds lad would have given a lot of fringe players a boost.
How many minutes did Demichelis play in pre-season?

Today shows that we can play that kind of formation vs a certain level of team & possibly get away with it. especially considering the players are obviously not fully match fit.

But Yaya now is almost like Pirlo. We can't have just Fernandinho looking after all that area on his own, behind yaya, against quality sides. Nor Fernando on his own. Whether DeBruyne could drop deeper, I don't know, but it looks to me like we need two players who can cover behind Yaya, then pick & mix the other 3.

Bony is quality btw. People who say he isn't, are fucking idiots.

Great start.

Went to the game I had to sit in the west brom area because I live close to west brom but what a good game and performance from our boys lets hope we smash the rent boys at sunday.
