West Ham 2017/18

At the end of the day, it's a football pitch. The stadium may well be more expansive bit they've had a year to adapt.

It's all down to coaching. They have some good players West Ham, they shouldn't be where they are.

I must admit, I thought they’d be better at home this season, as they’ve had 12 months to get used to the place. A bit like us, when we moved from Maine Road; the second season was much better than the first, IIRC.

But it doesn’t seem to be the case with West Ham. It was criminal the way they conceded so soon after dragging themselves back into the game last evening.

Maybe they missed Zaba more than I thought they would.

They were dreadfull y’day, the third goal was comical the way they conceded it less than a min after scoring to get them back in the game

When Hart was here I really liked and rated him, however I've always said he had one major flaw in his game (was posted on here on occasions) and that is his inability to make a "complete" first time save. He was forever making great saves for us, only for the ball to bounce back into the sis yard area giving opportunity for a striker to Dollie up, which they did in many occasions and Liverpool did twice last night.

Didn't think so at the time but, one if the best things Pep did... we need to have a World class keeper, not just a very good one or the best English...

The pitch might be bigger than the one at The Boleyn Ground (100.6m x 64m) but the London Stadium pitch is 105m x 68m which is the same size as ten other PL grounds. They should be used to playing on that size pitch.

Anyone else noticed how few seats go to the away support at West Ham...? Or am I imagining it?

We must be one of the most generous clubs in the league when it comes to away support allocation, I notice Tottenham seem quite mean too.

Have you ever heard the phrase "10% of capacity or 3,000 which ever is fewer"?
