Is Fernandinho just not in good shape yet or has he picked up an injury?
He was seen in a knee brace whilst he was with brazil so i don't think he is quite over that injury from last season,he was the last one back so has only been training this week and he is a pensioner now lol

Manchester City travelling squad for #WHUMCI: Ederson, Bravo, Carson. Stones, Laporte, Otamendi, Walker, Cancelo, Angelino, Zinchenko. Rodri, De Bruyne, Foden, Silva, Bernardo, Gundogan. Aguero, Jesus, Mahrez, Sterling. [via @ManCityMEN] #MCFC

That’s everyone who is fit and ‘first-team’ ready: twenty players, three of whom are goalkeepers and Cancelo we know will not take part. So, who misses out, Angelino or Foden?

Looking at angel in pre-season he is nowhere near ready,i think zinchy has the shirt, gundy needs so mins so i think phil might be on the bench but who knows with pep, maybe kev won't get the whole game

Angelino certainly had a torrid time in the first-half against West Ham. Probably needs a few games off the bench to settle into the side. Foden’s energy may be required tomorrow.

You’re correct. Makes choosing the team easier this week. :-)
I could be wrong on that though. Just had a look at Pep's comments and he only says Cancelo won't start so he might be on the bench. If he is then I imagine Angelino would drop out.

No, I think you were right initially. I got the impression, when hearing Guardiola, that Cancelo would not take part, though I could be wrong.

I’d say Foden. We need a full back on the bench and we will have Gundogan for Foden’s role. Also Bernardo, by bringing on Mahrez. Leaving Foden out is sad, but it covers us in more areas in my opinion.

I hope phil get's some mins but i think the others like gundy might get on before him,be interesting to see if rodders get's a full game again,we have so many options it makes my head spin sometimes
