I’d say Foden. We need a full back on the bench and we will have Gundogan for Foden’s role. Also Bernardo, by bringing on Mahrez. Leaving Foden out is sad, but it covers us in more areas in my opinion.

I miscalculated, so they’ll likely both be on the bench.

I hope phil get's some mins but i think the others like gundy might get on before him,be interesting to see if rodders get's a full game again,we have so many options it makes my head spin sometimes

True. Even with three injuries, we’ll likely still be able to leave Cancelo out this week and rest a player or two each week. That said, we could do with coming through the next few weeks with no new injury concerns.

I also think pep will want to make sure that Aguero and Mahrez get minutes, assuming the match situation makes it possible

Yeah hope we can dodge more injuries,i wonder if there is something about our training that has led to 3 ACL injuries,we can't just be that unlucky

Don’t think so. All three happened in games on decent surfaces and in fairly innocuous circumstances, with no shocking challenges (unless we’re being critical of Mendy’s tackling). Not 100% sure on this, but I think we showed greater sense this time and got Sane off the park immediately, whereas I seem to recall Mendy and Gundogan attempted to play on for a few minutes before giving up and coming off, which could not have helped. Just desperately unlucky.

No it’s entirely down to how the players landed and twisted, during games, nothing to do with training, although KDB s first one was in a training game last season.

I was surprised we let him walk up the wembley steps with just a bit of strapping on,don't know if that would make it worse or not,bad things happen in 3's,i hope that's it now
