Fucking scenes if Bern isn’t in the squad.
Artist depiction of Txiki trying to get to his office on Monday if that happens:

Met 2 Hammers fans in Wells, Somerset today. They knew I was a City fan by my retro Saab City shirt. They were extremely confident that they would win tomorrow……as “you don’t have a left back”.
Hope that they’re wrong.
Tell ‘em, Last season we won it with no left back or striker you slaaaaaaaaags

They had probably already visited Glastonbury down the road and were high on drugs. That’s the only explanation for such madness.

Ah a proper City match, the first in our new house.

As it's an away game my neighbours will hear a different blue b4 the moon though the walls than they think they know.

Come on City put in the sort of performance with a quick start that will still have them talking to me.

I'd be stating gundo, he deserves it and looks in good shape. Walker has to start or deal with Bowen but whole team need to be aware of his threat on the counter. Moyes will look to exploit it. I'd also be toying with the pace of Wilson Esbrand but obviously cancelo will start.

Liverpool seems to be the team of choice that we're going to compete with, but Chelsea won't have the distractions of last season, united are a bit of an unknown quantity, and I think both Spurs and Arsenal will be a bigger threat than last season.

With Thor and Alverez replacing Sterling and Jesus we'll have to adapt slightly and I wouldn't be surprised if it's even tighter this year.

The World Cup break will also play a part in what will be an exhausting season for many players, especially at the top clubs, and for that reason I think it was the right thing to do to have a "light" pre-season.
Absolutely!

My feelings on this are that Liverpool have played an incredible amount of games in the last year, and they’ve just added massively to that workload. It’s worrying for us to start slow, but just got to have faith that it will serve us well in the long run. And that the dippers fade at some point.

First subs after 3:0 lead ;Alvarez ,Mahrez, Gundogan / Phillips

Not a fan of starting Haaland and Alvarez at the same time , cuz if things gone wrong we have to put somebody from the bench who can make instant impact
Where’s the width though? Cancelo likes to go inside, Grealish likes to go inside, so that left flank doesn’t work. Foden coming inside too. With Cancelo left back it needs to be Foden left wing. This problem is why we needed Cucurella or someone similar. If we have a left back that can play on the outside, we can then actually play Grealish. Until then, I’d leave Grealish out as there’s no balance right now. So it’s Foden-Haaland-Mahrez/Alvarez until we sort left back out for me.

Drawn the last three games away to West Ham and wouldn’t be at all surprised if that pattern continues today. Moyes has them highly organised and we are still coming to terms with our new lines of attack, so we’ll need to take what chances fall our way.

Lets hope KDB has had his foot re-calibrated for today and Pep reminds them that we now have a striker, a good striker , a striker every other team wanted as their striker, and he needs the ball to strike !!!!
