Fully understand and agree .Seeing Zaba playing for another English side is going to be weird as hell.
I wish him all the best, obviously - guy is a legend - but still. Very odd.
£24m is the going rate for a player like Kelechi. He's 20 with 21 City goals to his name and one of the best goals p/m ratios in PL history.
Well not if we have a buyback. Say we have a £35m buy-back fee but Kelechi's stock has sky-rocketed and Chelsea are willing to pay £50m for him. City resign him and make £15m profit (a la Morata/Coman etc).Yep and if becomes an outstanding striker west ham can make big money selling him to chelsea
Agreed, it's a big fee for West Ham to splash on potential but I reckon he'd prove to be worth every penny to them. It's a good price but for someone with a PL goalscoring record like his it's not "snap their hand off" good, he will get them goals and I have a feeling a he will start to make it look like a bargain before the end of the season.... he just needs game time and the rest of his game will come on leaps and bounds in my opinion, if he was English there would have been so much more hype around him.
Yeah that's true it's more than I would have thought West Ham would be splashing out on a young player, I don't think they will have any worries about him settling though, he didn't even seem fazed when he moved country to us, plus he will have Zaba there to help him. I'm predicting a fast start for him if anything.Agreed, it's a big fee for West Ham to splash on potential but I reckon he'd prove to be worth every penny to them.
