The club panicked and made the wrong decision.

At the time it look like the right decision and West Ham agreed. Many were complaining about having to wait to be told....the clubs made a decision and now everyone's complaining again, they can't win.

The travelling fans now have to travel back and those travelling back down south will be doing so in the middle of the storm.

If the game was played at 4:30 they would have travelled back in improving (improved) weather conditions.

In your view, with no knowledge of the information they would have to consider like the number of stewards available for instance it’s also easy when your decision has no consequences It wasn’t called off lightly the cost to the club would be considerable but where the safety of staff and spectators is relevant then that doesn’t matter

Those making Sheff U out to be hardy heroes forget that,
It's an earlier kick off, Bournemouth are there already, crowd of 28k 99%local , no tourists , we have loads of student staff etc on parking , catering etc and here's one, most city games have 2-3 full buses of school kids from Scotland and other schools . And finally Kdb is nearly worth more than both Sheff U and Bournemouths combined.!
