Hope it’s not rearranged for a week on Wednesday, as has been suggested, as I’m away that night. Anyone know when we’ll get confirmation?
My daughter was waiting to get on that bus to take her home :)a National Express Bus load of passengers were very lucky when a tree hit their coach.
It isn't, because there are no official observations available close to the stadium, so it fails to mention a significant thunderstorm that had more severe winds (around 55mph), hail, and quite a bit of lightning that occurred about 10-15 minutes after the kick off time. There is no "observational record" for the Etihad Stadium, as there are no official meteorological stations within 10 miles of it, but radar and lightning records are available, if you know where to look, and they confirm a pretty severe thunderstorm hit Manchester City centre not long after kick off time, as do eye witness reports on this thread, it must have been while you were in your bunker. That's not a forecast. Its an observational record.
Yeah, I think it’s the most logical date from the club’s perspective. I was talking from a purely selfish point of view! It’s the perfect date.
After the break we first play an opponent which has shared the same break schedule as ourselves.
We’d be otherwise playing a Leicester team who already have a game under their belt following the break.
It gives us two games to get rhythm before we face Real.
Laporte could potentially play against West Ham and be rested against Leicester giving him minutes and rest before the Madrid game.
