And by the time kick off came the pitch had drained the water off and the weather wasn’t that bad.

Game could have just been delayed by half an hour and it would have been safe.
Spoke to UEFA officials outside the ground they thought the same thing but said it’s was the GMP who made the decision
 
My wife who works for City has just been told that a decision will be made at 10am as to whether the game will go ahead due to “travel concerns”

I reckon it’ll be called off if they are having a meeting at 10.

Typical. They couldn’t be arsed and knew it would be someone else’s shift the next day haha
 
The issue is outside of the ground, particulaly travel. i will be very surprised if this goes ahead, particularly as amber warning is advising people not to travel.

A bit late by then most out of town Blues will be on the way.

I’d be staggered if it was off, it just got ant that bad. The trains are shit when there’s leaves on the line. However health and safety may prevail I suppose
