FFS it only a bit of rain and a stiff breeze.....some say refreshing. Might give City Sq miss today mind you!
Exactly. I have been walking in a park 10 miles from City for the best part of an hour and it isn’t that bad. No bins blowing over, no sign of structural damage, swings not even blowing about, too many namby pambys these days

edit mind you I haven’t seen one other person in the park in the hour

If it’s anything like the last postponement, ECL game, the GMP decided 1 hour before kick-off, when I was walking up the spiral, that travelling conditions were so bad it was unsafe to travel yet thousands were already there or nearly there. So, we all had to travel home in “unsafe” conditions, thanks to the genius of the Police
And by the time kick off came the pitch had drained the water off and the weather wasn’t that bad.

Game could have just been delayed by half an hour and it would have been safe.

It's not that bad where I am (Peak District). The weather forecast suggests that the weather should start to improve around Greater Manchester from early afternoon. Local winds forecast to fall to around 20 mph at 3pm n Greater Manchester (gusts to around 40 mph) falling still further as the day progresses.

Travel home should be OK.

Cant see it being called off.

We have decided to not risk the journey. Pissed off a bit, as I was hoping we would get to see City pummel them today.
For those that are going, have a safe journey.

Yes.

The Westher for Sunderland was the same and the match was called off. Mainly due to the strong winds.
