West Ham - post match thread

Caballero made an absolute mess of it. He came for it and got absolutely nowhere near it. Wasn't entirely to blame but looked like he had rollerskates on when he came for it.
He'd just had the injury to his right arm and I wondered if it was a factor in how he tried (and failed) to get to it.

That first 45 minutes has to be one of the best i've seen from a City team. Stunning going forward and relentless when winning the ball back. We could have had 4 goals of the season with the slick, quick and direct football that flowed around the Etihad.
Silva at his majestic best was once again worth the entrance fee alone.

Any manager watching yesterday now knows to bang in crosses because Caballero is utter shite at dealing with high balls, it was as if our defense suddenly remembered who it was we had in net and went to pieces after they scored.

Caballero has led a charmed life since Pep came, but it can not change the simple fact he aint very good at being a goal keeper, I just hope it promps a re-think from pep to keep Joe and let him and Brava fight it out as 1 & 2.

Serge is in Venezuela playing for Argentina at around 8pm Tuesday night before the Derby. He will fly back Wednesday and probably land early Thursday morning, jet lag coming from South America can take around 3/4 days to recover from (he will have been in a different time zone for 10 days or so) so a "rest" is not the worst that can happen to us, League Cup and Bournemouth games shouldn't be a problem, let's see if the media campaign is repeated if a rag commits a similar offence.

Happens week in, week out, with Bogbrush and there's no reaction, apart from the usual comments about that being part of his game. Just like they used to apologise for the ginger pig's fouls.

Willy played well yesterday and his distribution was mainly excellent, bravo will no doubt start next game. All positives for me yesterday very happy with the progress we are making. The Sergio incident looks a nailed on red card from one angle but not even a yellow from the other.

Yep I'm guessing the review panel will only receive the clip from one angle ;)

Enjoyed that, especially first half, but also glad we have the international break. Now we have a little more time to get fitness levels up and for Pep to work more of his magic, plus the transfer window will be done and dusted which will clear a few minds.
I have a lot of time for West Ham fans, and hope they have a good season.

Thanks for that joe.

Guardiola has only been at the club for less than two months and already we are seeing improvements in the team as a whole and with individual players.

It is a pity we let the last two seasons slide away because we missed out on possible trophies in that time.

I am sure the best is yet to come not only from those players who have already been on the pitch but from the ones still to appear.

Agreed. We trod water for two seasons. We did alright but now it is looking good.

Sad cunts is a perfect description.

And reading that will annoy them. So much so they'll want to reply to one one us but then they'll read this and think they can't. Then they'll feel conflicted. Either way they know we are far far better than them with or without Aguero. He did fuck all today and it mattered not.

Reply or not reply undercover rags. Difficult one eh.
YOU FUCKING WAN....

I agree mate sad rag cunts

Ctid.

You mean the one where they got a free kick and Otamendi never got anywhere near the man.

yeah that one..he still dived in whether he touched the player or not and gave the player the opportunity to make something out of nothing and con the ref.....stayed on his feet and it wouldn't the question of a free kick wouldn't have been raised...
