The fact they have had 4 days off on the lash shows just how little this game means to them.

If we play at 70% or more of our capability! we win.

Couple of early goals would be good though to get the crowd going. Will get these again if it gets to HT 0-0.

Surely West Ham's world superstars Downing, Nolan and Carroll are far too professional and far too motivated to help their old club to be "on the lash" just days before the final match of the season. If the dippers read that they'll go into meltdown.

All this stuff about Rodgers's latest utterings or whether Carroll/Downing are up for the game is fine on the forum, but I assume Pellegrini has told the players to ignore it completely. No way it can help us.

We focus on the football and we are a way better side than them, at Upton Park or Etihad. This is not like the Everton game where they are a top 5 side with real quality added to our wretched record at Goodison.

Of course I haven't forgotten QPR, but I think we have shown impressive composure these past few weeks. Not saying it will be a cakewalk, but I expect a comfortable win - maybe 2-0.

This... and also QPR game was a whole different game... they were fighting for their lives from relegation (look what Sunderland did a few games back) ... WHU are fighting for the 12th spot on the table and Fat 'dinosaur' Sam gave the entire team 4 days off!

The WHU players have won their last home game, done their goodbyes to fans on their pitch with families, been off for 4 days with no training whatsoever ... They are mentally already on a beach relaxing...

For them it will be an exhibition game...

No game is a given and you can leave nothing to chance when you come to the last game.

West Ham like any side will want to give a good account of themselves.

If we are at the level we expect we can play we will be champions.

Liverpool still have to take care of business as well and there will be just as much pressure on them to get a win.

In the last two games they have been found wanting.

completely agree mate... but I think we should have no fear and do what we've been all season!

come on lads...we have been part of our club since we were knee high and we have had roller coaster seasons in the days gone by, Tomorrow will be a great day for our club and for us all whether we are able to get in the stadium or whether we have to be somewhere else to watch the game unfold - it doesn't matter where you will be as the love for our great club is what matters

We will have nerves and butterflies - but that will be from us the fans. We now have a squad who have been there and done it, we have a squad that under the tightest of pressure can produce and bring joy to our hearts

We have big game players who when it counts have the mental strength to see it through to the end, We also have a manager who brings that calm ethic to the whole club, a calmness that says' we will do it our way, even when the opposition is holding firm, we will believe in our own ability that we will break their defence down and score - we will not panic we will not hoof it long, we will pass & believe in our ability to produce a moment of pure class to burst the back of the opposition net'

There will be moments when we think 'jesus christ, come on West Ham just let us bloody score' - it may be 0-0 up until the last 15 mins and we will all be turning our stomachs inside out

(we all remember QPR) but if that didn't happen then we wouldn't be who we are, we would not be Manchester City, we identify that in ourselves as fans of the greatest club that we are all part of

CTID

A win tomorrow (not bothered what the score line)

No excuse for complacency. This is a game of fine margins and we need to be 100% focused to make sure we get the result.

Twist so fine. One to copy?

It's totally unprofessional isn't it. Sends out the message that their season is over to the players. Carroll, even if he did want to do the scousers a favour, which I doubt as they didn't like him much and Rodgers sold him, will not have been able to resist the casino/ale house. That's if he didn't fly off to Marbella or somewhere for a party.

How can you prepare for a match against the best team in the league with one days training. It's laughable. They would have prepared like hell earlier in the season when we played at their ground and we still won 3-1.

We have a 3/3 record against them this season when at least two games did matter.

In the last 86 matches at home in the prem, we have lost once to a side not in the top 6. Funnily enough when we had nothing to play for!

They have a 1 in a 100 chance for me tomorrow and we just have to hope it's not that one!

Adrian insists West Ham travel to the Etihad Stadium determined to upset Man City's title bid. http://bit.ly/1l2q6tx #whufc #mcfc

Why do we keep hearing about these wankers, where are the quotes from Pardew and Coloccini?

So, its 2 buses for tomorrow and try to score on the break...

or set piece.

This is the only way they will score for me.

Villa had a chance at 2-0 down when Hart started flapping around in the box and they almost scored.

Avoid unnecessary free kicks and corners.
