Hats off to Areola. Sure felt like it was going to be one of those days.

Alvarez has quietly been one of the best players in the league through five games.

Alvarez is simply a magnificent player, he does so much for the team and with no fuss and superb quality.

Let’s be honest, on another day we would have been three or four up before they scored. Game would have been over at half time and we would have eased to a 6-1 win. As it was, we made it slightly harder than we should have but three points and job done.

A great 2nd half started by the pace of Doku. The Hammers are a top 6 side on that showing and still had to rely on set pieces and breakaways. Well done Pep for half time pep talk.
