West Ham United (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Couldn’t get a decent feed of any kind due to my internet pissing about. Kept Radio Manchester on for the first half. Mike Minay? Steve Caulker wtf? Utter rubbish. When they went over to the swamp he had to shoehorn in that Poundland Erling shirts were in abundance now they had sorted that missing letter shit in the megastore. Fucked that off second half and Alistair Mann and Michael Brown were more like it. Excellent win to boot.

Great win that. I was only able to listen on the official site feed. Sounded like a fantastic game to watch. The team did well to come back after conceding. Looking forward to watching the whole match after midnight on City plus. On to Tuesday now. Put your feet up team and rest.

Excellent result after going a goal behind. Players never stopped working, great goal from Doku...that's the sort of thing we've missed in the last year or so, a winger cutting in and scoring...superb.
Some great saves from both goalkeepers.
Haaland never stops trying to score and keeps plugging away.
Walker was good again.
And Utd losing, what a nice Saturday evening this is going to be.

Didn’t put it in my earlier post, but so looking forward to seeing a lot more of Bobb this season. Think he could surpass what Palmer and McAtee have shown. Really like the look of him.
In the short term, I really hope he gets a full game against Newcastle.

Only seen clips and listened to commentary, but Doku is going to be a big hit here. Alvarez quietly doing the business, Haaland is just warming up.

The title is ours

Doku looks a real threat, how nice it is to see a winger who just brings fear and terror to any full back
Yeah, cos we haven't had any of those until now *eye roll*

For the record, some of the best full backs are on record as saying how difficult it is to play against Grealish (for eg). The Grealish disrespect from some City fans is so beyond boring at this point.

Just a brilliant win. It felt really old school - Sat 3pm kick off, not on telly, listening to it on radio manchester and for a while it threatened to be an old school city result.

But we're not champions of England and champions of Europe by accident and even in a tough away game missing some key players against a buoyant home team we still had the wherewithal to turn it around like that.

I’ve never felt more like singing the blues :-)

It is always the same after the international break, We found it hard to get going again even a sloppy Haaland today, But this squad and our manager never settle for a day off, Doku looks like a superstar signing and took his goal well.

It was a good win in the end, but West Ham is a hard team to break down at their place and credit to them
