West Ham United (A) | Post-Match Thread

Its frustrating because 9/10 times he scores but for some crazy reason he went the same side as his last pens, Fabianski read it.

He's scored some big pens for us recently (Dortmund, Spurs, Arsenal) so it is what it Is, we go again.

However, Kyle Walker said on Radio he hasn't given up playing again this season, I hope hes fit enough to play againts Villa because Zinchenko, Ferna and Cancelo are all midfielders playing in defense

We have 7 days rest until our next game, whilst Villa play on Wednesday evening, we should beat them comfortable at home.
You do realise, this is Manchester City were talking about.

Ha. Honestly I haven’t. Had a 1 year old desperately trying to put on the Gruffalo throughout the game.
Judging by comments on here, it clearly should have been a pen. What can I say ? Some decisions are awful. It’s always been that way and always will be, doesn’t make it right and we should always look at ways to improve decisions - VAR gives us a chance.
but like I said, in the bit you removed, on-field refs and VAR works differently for different teams, but that's always been the way and always will be.

Are you taking the piss with this? West Ham are playing for the Europa League places and it was their club legend's farewell game. Also, they are a much better side than Villa.
If Villa beat Burnley at home midweek (which they should) they will be 9 points behind West Ham going into the final game. That makes West Ham better but not much better.

If we'd won, we might have been a bit negative next week.
Now we probably have to win so on it from the first minute. Suits us better.
