Do we have any fully fit defenders to play against Villa?
Positives - Good result with a patched up defence, away against a difficult team fighting for a place in Europe.Positives - we didnt loseand it didnt affect our goal difference. Grealish better in the second half after an awful first half show. Laporte got through the game (though he doesnt look 100% fit) - could we get Walker back for next week?
Negatives- Mahrez fucking awful - hopefully wont play next week.
- our back 4 looks very vulnerable to any sort of pace and counter and strength....Villa will play on that next week and Gerrard will push his team that little bit more ...he will want it make no mistake and the liverpool fans, players and staff will be on him all week to get something...Ings and Traore both are pacey and will cause similar problems as today. Couhtinio - always scores a worldy against us
- we have given the scousers hope....expect to see them rack upa. cricket score against Southampton.....VVD and Salah will both play as Klopp has already said ther injuries arent serious.
Foden should have started....he is so much more positive than both Grealish and Mahrez. Unless Ake wasnt fit enough he should ahve started and should start against Villa though i doubt it will happen
You call me a clown for staying a reasonable opinion, requiring me to warn you to cut out insults, and then tell me to “grow up”?I literally posted this before you 'tagged' me in another post, stop looking for trouble and if you want a proper debate I'll give you one, grow up.
Spot on.But he’s shown reliability, it’s a long time since the stratosphere effort against the Dippers.
Surely you are not advocating that professional footballers have discussions about WHO or the situation you are playing against dictates who is taking the penalty.
I’m gutted he missed it but if KDB stepped up and missed it we would have loads of posts on here screaming “why the fuck did Riyad not take it?”
We’ve done brilliantly to dig out a result today, emotions are running high but it won’t seem so bad in the morning as it’s IN OUR HANDS. I trust the boys in blue to do the needful next week.
If he had taken off Mahrez we wouldn't have scored the second, would we?Pep's policy of leaving on players who are performing like shite indirectly cost us today, Mahrez was awful and should have been hooked by the hour mark at latest.
We'll beat them but Villa aren't awful & have players to hurt us if we're not on itHave to be happy with a point. Villa at home for the title, its basically gift wrapped. They are awful - we really have bottled it if we can't beat them. Come on the boys, just think it will make those scouse cnuts even more fuming when they lose out by just 1pt as opposed to 3.
I think the players have answered this question for the last 5 years. The word "bottle" should be banned on here when it comes to questioning this group of players.Liverpool will win both of their games
The question will be have city got the bottle to see it through when destination is in their own hands ?
