Not exactly wild west era music, maybe some other significance

Yes!
Also, Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones.
But I think that might've been while the gunfight was going on and was just tv show background music for the scene.
Still some have said that Black Hole Sun might be a reference to the time period the outside world is in.

no problem mate .... just seen the 2nd episode ...pretty awesome.... especially the last 5-10 minutes

They are giving it the multiple story arcs treatment similar to GOT.
 
2nd episode done - more and more intrigue, excellent stuff.

the "violent delights have violent ends" command line is what is spreading the hosts to become sentient it looks like, and Ford or Bernard has introduced this - he said something about magic words in the first episode and I think the stuff about a church might be a way of using religion to control them when they all become sentient" - maybe.

Gonna watch episode 2 later but been reading the already manic fan theories coming out on the internet all a bit giddy but up to now people are guessing

the incident 30yrs ago was the original film.
The B38 cold storage set and the delos globe seemed to be a nod to the lobby in futureworld proving it's directly linked to the movies.
That the man in black is the charactor from the original movie who survived.
That the man in black didn't rape delores but reprogrammed her hence why she swatted the fly and act of agression.
The man in black is an android.
The flys are mechanical and carrying the virus infecting the hosts.
Delores is actually sentinent and faking the tests to not be sent into cold storage.
That westworld is on another planet.
That hopkins and others are in fact a robots.

All pretty over enthusiastic and expect tonnes more as the show progresses
