Thinking of you and your father mate. You can rely on the club to pull through. As stated elsewhere they were equally brilliant during my late nieces last illness. More than a football club one big family.

I am very happy for your Dad and glad the club have done this, restores my faith in them, even if it is just a tiny bit. I am in touch with the club over my own personal circumstances from last year. Something in which they contributed to themselves but they can't even be arsed to reply to me. The club and fans are as far apart as ever but as I say, for you and your father, I am glad he got to experience this. All the best blue.

Losing one's hero is tough I lost mine seven years ago and it still hurts today.
Remember the good days and hold him close x

Our club is battered daily by the media and general public but on Friday I was witness to how special and wonderful Manchester City really are.
My Dad, a season ticket holder for 70 years is now receiving end of life care at home and has been given just weeks to live. He wasn’t well enough to witness most of last season or any of this but on Friday the club paid him a visit at home with the Premier League trophy!
I’ve not seen him this happy and excited for such a long time and for my family and I it was a truly amazing and emotional afternoon. To see him like that after all the suffering was magical and something I will never forget.
We are blessed to follow such an incredible club. Thank you City from the bottom of my heart
