What annoys you about modern-day football?

Crap freekicks - I barely play football, 5-a-side once or twice a week, but generally I can curl the ball from the edge of the area over a wall and at least hit the target 9 times out of 10. Why then have City players, with very exceptions found it so difficult?

Defenders who shield an almost static ball as its heading out for a goal kick. Its blatant obstruction, yet its allowed.
Friendly Internationals. Players seem to have lost interest. That doesn’t help.
Early Red cards. And no sin bin. Games ruined for one set of fans usually.

the fa coming out with fifa are not transparent when we all know they are only interested in four clubs, also referees who we know are given a directive in officiating certain games and certain clubs,it is like roger bannister telling douglas bader we are all on an even keel?

It drives me mad when players get sent to the touch line after an injury, and then wait a minute before the ref allows them back on. Fair enough if its someone feigning injury but it also happens for genuine tackles/ injuries, i just don't understand why.

Too much of it on tv. There just isn't the same anticipation and butterflies as there used to be when there was one or, if you were really lucky, two matches a week on tv. When I was a kid , getting the bus on a Saturday lunchtime was as exciting as the Christmas Eve - which was the most important day of the year by a long way!

-Brittish people demanding technology (it sucked for you guys, but no one else wants the technology)

Who exactly doesn't want it?
Because last time I checked there was a pretty large want for it all over the footballing world.

The GAA have been discussing whether they will bring in video technology, the GAA are one of the most stuborn, old school group of suits you could come across, if the GAA bring it in before football..so help us.
