What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

The statues outside the ground look a bit crap.

most of our fans only go out of habit. Lots of them are miserable and don’t enjoy any of it. Only make a noise when we are losing

harsh, he was brilliant in the 6-1
Agreed and he had a fabulous season but the point being made was he never scored a point winning goal. His one goal that season came at home o Newcastle when we won 3-1, therefore his goal couldn't be said to have got us three points or one whereas every other player did score in a one goal winning margin or drawn game.

Far from a criticism just an observation. 80)

Why do you think I'm "looking for excuses"? The best team won on the day. We just didn't give ourselves the best possible chance by not picking the best possible team (in my opinion).

It was clearly a case of Pep overthinking it rather than going for the obvious (and best) line-ups, as he has done so often in the Champions League. One of the things elite sportspeople want is to be as close to being in their comfort zone as possible. Picking that team (specifically Gundogan as CDM) put people out of their comfort zone immediately as it came totally out of left field. We managed to get to the final last season precisely because Pep hadn't fucked about in the quarters and semis.

As for your potential starting line-ups above, so you've compared the actual starting line-up with two teams that nobody would have dreamt up in a million years (Steffen, Mendy, Ake etc). Not sure what point you're trying to prove with that but it isn't a good one.

Not that I want to relive this but Team 1 features Fern and Rodri so rule that out.

Team 2 was 3/5 at the back with no creative midfielder so rule that out.

Team 3 had no holding midfielder.

Not one of those teams is our standard 4-3-3 with one DM, 2 CM/AM

We lost all 3.
Absolutely, a really contrived way to try to prove a point

We put the same formation like against semi final PSG, we will still lose.

fair point but I bet if you watched that whole season he made defensive blocks and tackles that saved us 3 points at some point

Except Pep. Genius when he rotates his squad And wins. Fucking loser when he rotates the squad and loses.

How dare he disrupt the squads ‘comfort zone’, what a bunch of shit.
Maybe disrupt the squad’s comfort zone in a league match rather than the Champions League final.
