What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

Except Pep. Genius when he rotates his squad And wins. Fucking loser when he rotates the squad and loses.

How dare he disrupt the squads ‘comfort zone’, what a bunch of shit.
Did I call Pep a loser??? And not sure the Champions League final would be a good time to "rotate the squad"! You contrasted two ridiculous teams with the actual team picked to try to prove your hypothesis that we would have lost with any team that we put out. We certainly would have lost with your alternatives!

As for comfort zones, if you don't think there's any value in not disrupting the the team's equilibrium with curveballs in the run-up to a Champions League final then fair enough, your opinion. Doesn't make it a bunch of shit though.

You believe that 100 %?

Liverpool have never scored 90 + league goals under Klopp, City have scored 95 + league goals 3 times under Pep, and 100 + league goals twice.

Liverpool's games may be more exciting to watch in the sense in which it is more interesting to watch less predictable than more predictable games. Liverpool's games are more open than ours, they concede more chances than us and thus are less in control of games than us. That is, they take more risks than us, without scoring more goals, though. City may be less exciting to watch in the sense that City dominate games more than Liverpool. That is, because City are better than Liverpool :)
Pep’s City will never get the credit they deserve in England.

English fans prefer kick and rush, quick, unpredictable football anf tactics are for fancy foreign teams.

Pep has created a brand of football that controls and suffocates 95% of teams.

No jeopardy=boring to the neutral.

Well done mate. We clearly should have you as manager instead of Pep. You talk like you know what should have been done. You don’t. You have an opinion which seems to be shared by the likes of BT commentators and constantly repeated ad nauseum.
You continue to think Pep fucked up. I will continue to think the team he put out was perfectly capable of winning. On the day, individual players underperformed and Chelsea played very well. We lost. Let’s move on,

On the pre match thread I agreed with you mate. On hindsight it was a bad error to change the tactic. But it’s all hindsight. The Lyon game was another selection error too but individual performances and a ropey ref performance did for us there. Failures in individual games are multi factorial

That we agree on.

No need to resort to the rather childish "you should be the manager then". I'm allowed an opinion, which as you acknowledge is shared by a lot of people (and not just BT commentators), so clearly not off the wall.

As you said, it's all hindsight. So I guess we're all agree to move on?! :)

fair point but I bet if you watched that whole season he made defensive blocks and tackles that saved us 3 points at some point
Very true.... I did all the home games and about 15 aways, and you are correct but just pointing out a statistic.... (other than the 1-6, the best for me was Newcastle)

.....you know what they say; Statistics, statistics and damn lies .

- Our board don’t care about improving the issues with the atmosphere or empty seats, just getting the £ in, regardless of if the seat is filled.
- We used to be a lot more creative as fans with songs, especially in the latter Maine Road days. We’ve been using the same ones for 5+ years now despite having players who’ve repeatedly made history at the club. If that was United/Liverpool individual players would have their own songs featuring said historic moments, we are much better with this away but they don’t catch on at home.
- Yes our fanbase at home is sanguine and can be dull, but so is every other PL club in my experience for the most part as an away day goer, unless it’s the ‘big 6’ as we are a huge game in their seasons now like when they come to our place. (Liverpool still vastly overrated) We get it in the neck unfairly in this regard.
- Our atmosphere for big night games is fantastic, see Liverpool Jan 2019, Barca 2016, Hamburg 2009 & Chelsea/United 2012 as clear examples. Aston Villa 2014 another.
- Our away support is up there with the best in the country & improving season on season.
- The media hit job on our Club has had adverse effects on our reputation & we have been far too soft in combating it from the beginning, our kill then with kindness policy has totally failed.
- The exterior of the Etihad needs a total redo.

Of course you have an opinion. I wasn’t being childish though. You profess to know more than the manager at the time and have better judgement than he did or is your opinion all founded on hindsight?
I choose to trust his decisions. Most of them he gets right. Occasionally he gets them wrong. I certainly wouldn’t call him out when he does though. Media are lined up to do that.
