Stephen Leather - False friends, I like the Spider Shepherd thrillers, then onto another Jo Nesbo up there with Connelly and James Lee Burke imho.

Did you try Riotous assembly and Indecent exposure both hah me crying with laughter.

Moonraker - Ian Fleming

Really like the original Bonds, with the exception of Live and Let Die.

Just finished The Fear Index by Robert Harris, but was not that impressed it seemd a bit formulaic - his historical novels (Imperium etc. are far more enjoyable)

I am out of books at the minute,so have started to read the James Elroy underworld trilogy again,American Tabloid,The Cold Six Thosand,and Bloods a Rover,fantastic stuff.

American Tabloid is one of the best books I have ever read.

I didn't rate The Cold Six Thousand as highly and am not yet in the right frame of mind to read Bloods A Rover.

His autobiography is well worth reading as well.

You can almost believe Elroys version of American history to be true. It is that well written.
