Great read

I had a look at this after seeing your post and downloaded it for the Kindle. I can't get into it at all. I really don't like the writing style one bit.
I'll give it a few more chapters and if it doesn't improve I'll bin it.

Just finished the Shardlake series by C J Sansom. Briiliant, un-put down able books. Considerably better than Hilary Mantels' Wolf Hall imho !
