What book are you reading now / or recommend?

I really enjoyed reading World War Z by max brooks. I am looking for another apocalypse type book also like The Stand by Stephen king. Anyone got any tips?

The Passage by Justin Cronin.

Please Daddy No - Stuart Howarth

One of these misery memoirs I usually avoid but read this cos the author is same age as me and brought up near me.

A truly fucking horrific read that I struggled to finish.

'Look who's Back'

Imagine Hitler waking up and finding himself alive in 2011 Berlin.
Not a masterpiece but some very funny lines; written by a German too.
Really enjoyed it.

I fancied something different to the usual sci-fi/fantasy, so I started Death Force yesterday and so far it's quite good.
It's about a group of modern mercenaries in Afghanistan doing a black op for the British Army.
It reminds me very much of a modern Wild Geese, and so far I'm really enjoying it.

The End of The World Running Club - Adrian J Walker. Absolutely brilliant read and downloaded for only £1.99 from Amazon. Its a post apocalyptic book set in Britain after a massive asteroid attack. If you like The Stand or The Walking Dead this is a must read.
