What book are you reading now / or recommend?

Just started Child 44, heard many good things but not into it yet.

The last really good book I read was - the race for life. If your into cycling this is a must read.

Fire Force, it's the second in the Death Force series about modern-day mercenaries. Like the first one, I'm enjoying it immensely.
It's nonsense but really easy reading with some great action. It's also nice to read a war story without any Americans in.
No doubt if they made a film of it, the main characters would all be ex-Navy Seals or Delta, instead of the nice mix of Brits, Aussies, and Russians. There's even an old Provo on the team. How times have changed.

Mightier than the sword by Jeffrey Archer, last in a set of 5 chronicling 2 families through the ages.Usual easy reading from a master tale teller.

Stick with Child 44 it's really good. Gives you a great impression of life under communism too.

One of the few fiction books I have read in the last 10 years that I found utterly compelling.

Great plot, believable characters, sharp dialogue ec.

It's complex basically it's about the interconnection of all strange phenomena from Old Fairy lore and religious visions etc to UFO's it's quite a deep book but fascinating, the upshot is that they are all the same thing Vallee is a great author and scientist we'll worth reading if you want to really understand the subject
