passport to magonia by Jacques vallee been waiting for it to be released on kindle as hard copies go for over £100, a true classic if you are interested in that sort of thing

What sort of thing is it?

It's complex basically it's about the interconnection of all strange phenomena from Old Fairy lore and religious visions etc to UFO's it's quite a deep book but fascinating, the upshot is that they are all the same thing Vallee is a great author and scientist we'll worth reading if you want to really understand the subject
I like a good upshot, think I'll get it :)

Aaah- I thought I recognised the name.

He wrote a book about UFOs which I read years and years ago.

I seemed to recall he was more interested in the impact and interpretation of UFOs within society as opposed to whether they were full of little green men.

His argument is that the phenomena has been here since the dawn of mankind it just changes it's form to suit the times

Didn't John Keel propose something not dissimilar?

Yes and they both make very convincing arguments I have all of Keels books and most of Vallee's

Do you have UFOs; Operation Trojan Horse? That was one of Keel's wasn't it?

I read that a long time ago but have never seen a copy since.

My recollection was that was one of the best books of that genre.

Yes it's out on Kindle now (the hard copies are very expensive) I have a hard copy it cost me £30 but worth every penny although he is less analytical than Vallee it's still a cracking read,

Just started From Russia With Love. My life, the Bond books are violent!

'Zealot' by Reza Aslan.
A book that attempts to cut back on myth to find the true Jesus of Nazareth, and I think it succeeds. It doesn't matter if you are a believer or not (I'm an Agnostic) it's extremely interesting book.
