its a shithole , no wonder they want to knock it down , etihad is better in every way , dont know why they need such a big stadium , they only fill it when madrid come to town

Very disappointed with the stadium itself.

The organisation and crowd management was disgraceful, you were basically herded in like cattle and they filled the stadium section from left to right which basically gave them zero crowd control I.e. Ticket management.

You are put behind a wire mesh which was really distracting. Expected much better, it's not as if they'd never had to manage Foreign fans before. Very similar to Madrid except the stadium was better at Madrid.

Have yet to visit a decent (view without mesh and high up) stadium yet, Ajax was probably the best with Poznan and Dortmund next, never did the Allianz. No more CL for me.

Not where me and my mates were, we couldn't see at least 1/3 of the pitch without bobbing and weaving with every pass, couldn't see one of the goals at all, (not that it mattered much as we never troubled them much).

For the price paid, it was the worst view I have ever had at any football game. I appreciate those higher up in the away end might have had a better view, but the perspex, the posts holding it, combined with the thick metal top, made it a joke to watch any football (not that we played any).

TBH its out of date and way below the standards we have now so judge it as it is

As for the catering......I spent 5 mins trying to buy a diet coke.....discovered it was actually coke light after a translation......then the ferkers did not have any and I had to have fanta!! ruined the whole trip for me TBH.

Thought it was immense.

Got in and out with no fuss.

The scran was fine. Didn't use the bogs.

My view was fucking flawless. Pitch and crowd looked colossal.

I was in the home section though so maybe different to the away bit?

When you walk all the way round it a couple of times looking for the coach park after the game, then its big.

Those that didn't go and want to know what its like, then try this.... rerun the game using your dvd player but stretch a pair of the girlfriends fishnets over the screen. Then leave your front room, walk half a mile down the road and watch the tv. That's the same view I had last night.

I was totally underwhelmed by every aspect of the stadium - we were made to feel like onlookers from afar. Not a venue for the short sided fan.......

Had to watch a rerun tonight to fully appreciate the game -

I also hated the way they allowed everyone to leave the stands and then allow every one to stand in a big crush waiting for the gates to be unlocked.

In a nutshell reminded me a bit of the Old Wembley - a concrete monstrosity that we had the good sense to demolish

This post made me smile. My eyesight is not the best, and I struggled to make out the players at times. Got back home around 14.30 on Thursday. Knackered so a few hrs kip until the missus got home. Some tea then watched the full game on "catch up". how bloody good did we play. It was a great experience, but so much easier to watch on widescreen TV! :-)

Looked ok from the outside but looked very tired on the inside, the stairways were a disgrace and the less said about the toilets the better!

Flush on the sink broken?

Never made the sink. Had to have a piss against a wall on the 4th level concourse to avoid missing the start to the second half, as the queue for the toilets was ridiculous.

People pissing in the toilets, where did the smokers go ffs ,-)
