Being able to walk into a bar near work on tuesday wearing one of only 2 blue shirts then leaving saying thanks for the practise!!! Oh and being born in manchester is a plus( and like myself been following city since i was 6 like 43 years ago!!!) unlike most ushited supporters!! Maybe that was unfair not being from manchester

No wrong answers to this question, for me its nothing quantifiable like the amount of matches you've attended, or number of kits you've purchased from the official store, or the amount of years you've supported City. Only you know if your a real city fan or not. It's like the question of how do you know if you're in love with someone or not... You just know.
If you're on a city forum (on a Friday night especially) reading a thread about what is considered a real city fan.....you're probably a real city fan.

Interesting read. According to some, Sheikh Mansour would not even be considered a real City fan. Something just seems odd about that. ;)
