What does our squad need for the coming season?

We could do with another Kev. I know it's hard replacing someone like him but I heard that Wirtz is meant to be decent? Get him in and let him learn from the master.

To be fair mate we already frighten the world.

That is very true mate, but everyone will be looking at the Brentford game, and while there were many reasons, the main one was that we were slow, this was not the first time this problem had shown itself, and will only increase with age and what seems our targets, as the tread says what we need, for me that is to take away a growing problem.

Wirtz is good but he is more like Foden, my back up for KDB is Thuram, tall and quick good tackler so nothing like him.

The thing is, this is just the beginning for this current team and new set-up. We only started our current system and only started playing well, in February! We were bloody dreadful either side of that stupid World Cup before that and were playing a different system.

It’s not like this is the same team and system that has won three PL titles in a row. We’ve only had this team playing this way for about 25 games. It’s so new that there are teams we haven’t even played yet using this system. So even if we don’t sign a single other player for next season outside Kovacic, we will still be in the infancy of this new system (3 centre backs at the back and two deep midfielders in front of it and five attackers) and only in the second season of bedding in Haaland.

There’s absolutely no way whatsoever we should be having an overhaul.

Overhauling something that has only just started would be daft.

Looks good but I really do not think Bernardo is staying, so put Marhez in there, who are the back ups, that is where we need players in, that first team needs back ups and those players need to challenge.

I think Bernardo is staying, yes. Who’s in for him? I’ve not seen or heard of any club who are in for him this Summer other than that Saudi team but there’s no way I can see Bernardo going there. Who would get anywhere near paying what he’s worth? Barcelona tried with pathetic ideas for bids last year that we laughed at (even City’s valuation for this brilliant player is too low).

There’s more talk of City offering a new contract to Bernardo than there is him being bought by any other club.

Oh how i wish you are right but i think he is on his way to PSG, overhaul? yeah your probaby right numbers will show, but since your on put up your second team, with players that actually are pushing for the first team spot. i think this shows better what we need.
