At this point it's up to him if he succeeds here or not. As for what we need next season, I'll like to see more EDS boys break into the first team and get some valuable minutes. We could save so much money by introducing a lot of these talented youngsters.

He will have to pull off some amazing transformation to become a 100m pound player in 12 months.

He is hugely talented but way, way off first team levels in terms of mentality.

Make or break for him this season wherever he plays.

I am actually big fan of Alvarez & McAtee, but I just want to see how McAtee will play next to Kevin.

Right, Alvarez was our second top scorer last season with 17 goals, the fact it has taken 5 seasons for Foden to be in line to go into midfield rather than on the wing, would suggest that McAtee will also not be trusted by Pep in an AM slot anyway.

We just won a treble with Akanji and Ake. I don't think Gvardiol is going to just walk into the team.

Think there are gonna be big moves but ones with the future in mind

Gvardiol and Rice look like our two big transfers, two players who may not walk into the team immediately (put respect on Ake name after last year for those that disagree) but they have their best years ahead of them

Expect an attacker, hopefully a winger, who can come in for Bernardo, even more urgent if Mahrez leaves which I'm not sure is going to happen

Think this formation stays, Pep found a winning formula and Gvardiol and Rice fit this shape brilliantly

We don't need a a traditional full back, Akanji, Ake and Stones all did jobs there last year when our defence transitions to a 4 and Gvardiol can also play at LB, Pep wants "proper defenders" and most full backs like Theo etc. Are modern full backs, great going forward but lacking defensively....much like why Canelo was shipped off and we were better for it
