What happened with Rio? (merged)

It's very faint due to the shutter speed etc etc, look above the "+4" in frame 2 and then frame 3.

Frames go from left to right and carry on below.

The faint white line across the top is the coin coming in from the right.
Frame 2 is as you suspect the exact previous frame and that line is not to be seen.

It's hard to see but this was the best video of it i could get a hold of.

I'm booked in for intensive mental therapy rebel :p

np Marvin :)

Forget the angle of the throw or whether he was facing his own fans at the time.

The biggest giveaway is that CCTV and HD Technology should have guaranteed an arrest within a couple of hours. After all we know the exact minute and second of the incident.

On the day after City won the League, MCTV posted a ten minute recording of the CCTV coverage during the dying moments of the QPR game Even from the South Stand you could make out the faces of people you knew behind the opposite goal.

Using the same cameras it wouldn't be that difficult to pinpoint a City fan launching into a Steve Backley impression.

Meanwhile on the other side of the fence you've got 3000 hysterical rags, all dressed in black and none of them (understandably) in their designated seats.

Wouldn't you just love it if City already had evidence of this but allow the venomous attacks on our club to play out for a few days longer before producing irrefutable evidence of some cross-eyed rag attemting to throw the coin at City fans.

That would be outstanding. I spoke to a guy at the cash & carry today who is a red, his first words were how bad our fans were for throwing things, when I reminded him of the Bellamy incident, he said he "didn't remember that", very selective memory some people!!
Good luck with the therapy TCIB :0)

Can't see how City as a club can be held to account for coins being thrown. Distasteful as coin throwing is it's practically impossible for any club to prevent it happening. It's not like you can confiscate everyone's loose change at the turnstiles. It was also blatantly obvious that coins were being thrown by both sets of fans, mainly at each other tho also some at the players, and I don't see how, or why, the authorities can single out City for it.

If City are to face any sanction relating to Sundays game it's far more likely, imo, to be in relation to the muppet who entered the field of play in an apparent attempt to confront Ferdinand - tho what he hoped to do had he actually reached Ferdinand is beyond me.
