What I don't understand is why more regulars didn't turn up. I know it's not cheap, and yet this was against Real Madrid, a team most fans never thought they would see step out against City unless we were lucky enough to play them in a pre season friendly. I'm not having a go at people who chose not to go, I just don't understand why they wouldn't attend this particular game. I would have crawled over broken glass to get the chance to watch us play Real Madrid at home and that's coming from someone lucky enough to watch us at the
Bernabeu.
My thoughts exactly, even saw some guy on his effin iPad!!
