600mg Pregabalin per day
35mg Ametryptelin per day
8 sodding Paracetomol per day
10 mg Butrans patch a week

amd the doctor still thinks a good smoke'd help!

not had a dump for a month

2 back surgeries in 2 years and now scheduled for an anterior lumbar inter-body fusion
ie through my feckin stomach.

all you back pain sufferers...i wholly sympathise (or empathise).

Doesn't amitrptaline stop you shitting as much?
Maybe you should stop that for a bit, although 35mg isn't much

Amitriptyline doesn't constipate you!! It's the Butrans patch that's doing it!!

Buprenorphine!! An opioid!!

Why is amitrip prescribed for IBS then? Is it just for pain relief?

Yeah! It works quite well on neuropathic pain (pain involving the nerves)

Maybe I need to come off it then, I have IBS but don't really get much pain (not £7.85 every 3 weeks worth anyway), but it seems to have worked on other associated problems, once going up to 75mg a day - maybe it is just a placebo effect.

Where do you live pal? GPs have different ideas in different areas! If it works don't stop using it!! Definately not!

Not to get to technical but it works on receptors in the body call muscarinic receptors (M3) and in the gut affecting these could potentially relax the muscles so on that basis i can see how it would help with cramping and pain? If you had any? The theory is sound maybe they just don't use it in my area!

Have you tried lots before that?

Been taking Mirtazapine for about 6 weeks, if I don't stop taking it I'm going to end up obese so time to stop.

I don't think it's even bloody working anymore. Have to try something else.

This and that..... Lost a good part of my sight and my balance for a couple of months because some dipshit prescribed the wrong meds. And that's not the first time something like that has happened. So the fewer the better.

My Aripiprazole alone cost the NHS £220 per month. God knows how much the Lamotrigine as worth. After 18 months, I stopped taking both six weeks ago against strict advice.

I haven't had a seizure or bipolar relapse in that time and have been perfectly well.

Next meds review is next month.
